Character Art Commissions
Are you a storyteller in need of character art to promote your work? I have developed an illustration style somewhere between art nouveau and neo-traditional tattooing. I use heavy line work in sepia tones and vibrant color palettes! I would love to help you, a fellow indie author (I'm one of those too!), bring your characters to life. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Below is some information that you may need prior to filling out this form! If I think your characters are something I would enjoy illustrating, I will be in touch! If I don't, I will let you know quickly so you can move on to finding another artist! Please know it is simply due to a) time constraints (I have books to write and my own character art to do!) or b) I feel that my art nouveau style will not properly represent your creative vision! Below is a slide show of various pieces with examples of pricing.
I use Procreate. The sizes offered for the work below are 11x14 to 11x17, 300 DPI. These prices will increase halfway through 2026, but will remain in the same general range. Right now I am not doing NSFW art (but I will absolutely illustrate topless characters of any gender), but I am more than happy to help you find an NSFW character artist! Commercial licensing is 25% of your total! I am violently against AI! Five revisions (on the linework and color each) are covered by the total agreed sum. Anything further will result in a restructured total sum. I want you to be satisfied and most edits/tweaks will not be seen as a revision, unless a major restructuring of the piece is required.
